BAFTA/ Rushes Filmmakers Day
10:00 BAFTA
A day of discussions, events, debates and declamations, with all‐day screenings and an industry market featuring companies who support the film and media community. The goal of the event is to bring together new filmmakers with more experienced professionals, and key industry organisations. Topics to be tackled range from short film budget breakdowns, to pitching tips from major production companies, to expert advice on proper sound design. The day’s activities will culminate in a free networking drinks session at 17:30, for all event attendees and guests. All sessions will cost £5, apart from those in the Run Run Shaw Theatre, which will be free.
